Govardhan, a constable in a small town, in his late-30s, is many things apart from being in the police force. He is a loving father, a caring husband, and an almost son-like son-in-law. However, he isn’t the best at anything although he tries his best to be. At home, he is unable to dedicate time because of his job. At his job, he isn’t the fittest. For a police officer, he is both overweight and overkind. He may not be the fittest but he definitely has a way with the convicts. What others fail to do with muscular power, he can do it with his kind words and visibly genuine warmth. In that way, he is an indispensable part of the station.

In a minuscule ego battle between the station and a freelance journalist, the news that the force has overweight officers becomes a sensation bringing humiliation to the Commissioner. In a repercussion to that, Govardhan ends up getting a warning - that if he fails to reduce his weight in 3 months, he would have to lose his job. Thus begins Govardhan’s misadventures journey of reducing his weight. He does it all. Yet, it leads to no success. With significant time passing and no progress to save his job, an unofficial case comes to his rescue.

An unofficial case from a local politician that has been impossible to crack by other officers falls into Govardhan’s lap. The task - to extract information from an alleged criminal. The catch - he has lost his memory. Govardhan, with all his kindness and honesty, tries to win over a criminal and get the seemingly impossible task done. All to save his job / reputation / respect.
